A Genetic Cause For Homosexuality? Divergent Transnational And Intranational Population Comparisons Confirm The Lie, Otherwise Evolution Has Taken A Wild Ride The Last Fifty Years

In 2015 a team of 'scientists' at UCLA claimed to have discovered genetic markers that are strongly correlated with homosexuality. Their study constituted flagrant abuse of statistical methodology, the most egregious example of which, for there are many statistical abuses in the study, is fishing for results that match the 'scientists'' agenda:

There’s also another, larger issue. As far as could be judged from the unpublished results presented in the talk, the team used their training set to build several models for classifying their twins, and eventually chose the one with the greatest accuracy when applied to the testing set. That’s a problem because in research like this, there has to be a strict firewall between the training and testing sets; the team broke that firewall by essentially using the testing set to optimize their algorithms.

If you use this strategy, chances are you will find a positive result through random chance alone. Chances are some combination of methylation marks out of the original 6,000 will be significantly linked to sexual orientation, whether they genuinely affect sexual orientation or not. This is a well-known statistical problem that can be at least partly countered by running what’s called a correction for multiple testing. The team didn’t do that. (In an email to The Atlantic, Ngun denies that such a correction was necessary.)

And, “like everyone else in the history of epigenetics studies they could not resist trying to interpret the findings mechanistically,” wrote John Greally from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in a blog post. By which he means: They gave the results an imprimatur of plausibility by noting the roles of the genes affected by the five epi-marks. One is involved in controlling immune genes that have been linked to sexual attraction. Another is involved in moving molecules along neurons. Could epi-marks on these genes influence someone’s sexual attraction? Maybe. It’s also plausible that someone’s sexual orientation influences epi-marks on these genes. Correlation, after all, does not imply causation.

So, ultimately, what we have is an underpowered fishing expedition that used inappropriate statistics and that snagged results which may be false positives. Epigenetics marks may well be involved in sexual orientation. But this study, despite its claims, does not prove that and, as designed, could not have.

Instead of looking down into an electron microscope to determine the reality for the cause of same-sex attraction, or developing imaginary models, there's a much simpler, and less costly, approach in learning the truth, but Marxist agitators aren't interested in the truth. Marxists are only interested in promoting societal sabotage operations, thereby weakening the fabric of Western Civilization. And the identity of this simple approach, you ask? Divergent transnational and intranational population comparisons, of course.

In Canada, homosexuality/lesbianism has massively increased since 2003, from 1% to 1.7% in 2014. Not only do we witness impossible intranational percentage spikes of late in what we are told is a genetic condition, we also witness divergent international gender statistics:

America

1.8% identify as homosexual, 1.5% as lesbian

Australia

1.6% identify as homosexual, 0.8% as lesbian

Ireland

2.7% identify as homosexual, 1.2% as lesbian or bisexual

If indeed there is a genetic cause for homosexuality, where environmental factors play no part, then the percentage of homosexuality would be (1) the same between nations; (2) the same between nations' genders; and (3) the same for genders within their respective nations, but this isn't the case. Genetics doesn't discriminate based on artificial national boundaries, nor does genetics discriminate between genders, but Marxists (which includes the false opposition*) do discriminate for political reasons,** leading to the conclusion that same-sex attraction is environmental, that is psychological; if one is born homosexual, no amount of environmental conditioning can change that fact.

So much for a genetic cause regarding same-sex attraction. Civilization requires the promotion of opposite-sex relations, regardless of the sexual orientation of the individual. Civilization requires the integration of the sexes, not promote behavior that separates the sexes; separation of any groups breeds hatred between the groups, which is precisely the Marxist agenda.
